Project Management with PRINCE2


 A project is a temporary endeavor having a definite beginning and end, conducted to meet certain goals, usually based upon plans.  Whether it is related to current business practices or not, projects are performed by individuals and related to either business or non-profit entities. A project is an effort to meet a given goal.  In order to agree upon a goal, two or more people must come together and decide to pursue it together.  However, there are varioushowsthat a project is accomplished in terms of a developing a task list, planning the development of the process, finding materials, and seeking clarification on paperwork.  However, one of most significant factors that may influence the plan are the time, money, and personnel involved in the venture.

Projects are conducted for progressively greater and greater goals as time and the need for ever greater resources decreases.  Some types of projects are very small in nature and elementary whereas some are extremely significant.  Within all types of projects there is a order in which they are typically performed and a certain sequence in which decisions need to be made.  Thus, the natural order of project activities is obviously extremely important.

An additional position that exists within any project is the Project Manager (PM).  The PM is the individual that coordinates the activities from cost, quality, and time constraints with the supporting Project Team.  The PM is the one that normally delegates responsibilities, assures timely completion, and is the one responsible for project administration.  Finally, the Project Board is a group of individuals that may be responsible for a great variety of information to the PM.  The list of responsibilities may include perhaps the following: procedures for controlling expenditures on a variety of projects, overall responsibility for supervision of one or more projects and their respective operations, principal responsibility for decision making regarding resources activities, and so on.

The most common projects within any given confines include fluctuations of money, new and existing gen�ince access, many types of students, and various resources.

The monetary budget plan is closely related to the timeline for activity.  It may take as few as a week to a year to follow the budget plan.  Most projects began with the written plan, and when the project is finished, the budget plan becomes the final evaluation of the project.

Of course, there are usually ramifications for failed and completed projects.  One of the most common forms of infamous consequence is initial anticipation of responsibility and the subsequent downfalls of the project.  Learning is the key, and the ability to be aware of and follow the established guidelines based on your own experience as well as that which has been previously conducted by others is the key.

The ability to rise and understand responsibilities constantly regarding the project’s overall goal and the proper allocation of time and resources is extremely important to the success of any project.  Furthermore, by working your way down the list by eliminating liabilities and remaining individual responsibilities of the PM, as well as examining the harmony in the taxing combination of projects and costings, you effectively bring new ideas, responsibilities, and expectations to your organization.

The project procedures should document the consumption of materials, when the information is to be reported to another project, as well as when the final reports are to be distributed.  As money is spent, it should always be included in the cost rotation schedule.  Once the schedule critically evolves and accurate box figures are assess, adjustments to budget are necessary.  It is always in your best interest to explain the ramifications of your decisions to those that will actually be involved.  Often, only simple, temporarycomes are approved without extensive explanation to the following project personnel.  Customer relations during adjustments be kept in their proper order at all time.  The measurements of operations are critical to understanding costs that will be anticipated by the company during the launch of the newest projects.   An extra billing approval route should be included in the procedure to not only estimate time, but also direct material handled.  The schedule management schedule should also establish adjustments to the budget for expenses for purchasing, travel, and repair every day.  The, and a final responsibility of the PM is to keep a close supervision of projects and to find additional ways to make them possible, and as often as possible remain open and informed as to the progress of the project.

The final responsibility of the PM is to stay aware of the project at all times by regularly communicating with all important affiliates.
